2021 REGATHERING FAQ

When will we start meeting again?
Our Sunday services will meet for in-person gathering starting on June 20, 2021 (Father’s Day).
For now, we will be reserving seats for the first 150 people who sign up.
Student Ministries will begin in-person gatherings starting in August 2021.

How can I attend?
Sunday services through reservations.
Online from wherever you are at newstorychurch.com/online or youtube.com/newstorychurch

Do I need to register to attend?
Yes.
We will have a maximum capacity for the foreseeable future. We may add additional services to extend our capacity in the future. Registration will open June 1 on newstorychurch.com/sunday
Registration will allow us to regulate attendance for safety purposes. Masks and social distancing guidelines will be in place.

When can I start to volunteer or serve?
We will need as many of our church family as possible to join us in setting up our church and welcoming people. Your ministry leader will be in contact with you shortly to schedule training sessions.

Will everyone be required to follow CDC recommendations (Face masks, Staying distanced, temperature check)?
Masks will be required while on campus and we will have the spaces set up to facilitate safe distancing
protocols. We request all attendees to self-monitor and refrain from entering campus if they show any symptoms.

Will onsite bathroom facilities, hand sanitizer stations be available?
Yes.

How can I be assured everyone will follow CDC recommendations?
We will encourage everybody to act in love towards one another and keep each other safe.
While we cannot ensure that everyone will follow the guidelines, our team will be working hard to ensure an environment of safety for every person who chooses to attend.

Will I be required to keep my mask on during worship?
We are excited to have worship through music led by our worship teams in person. Please keep your mask on for the duration of your time on campus.

Do my children need to wear face masks?
Based on CDC Guidelines, we encourage children 2 years of age and older to wear a mask.

Will snacks, lunch, or refreshments be provided?
Yes.
We will set up an outdoor fellowship area where food and drinks will be provided. We will encourage everyone to go outdoors right after our service. While restrooms will be available inside, we encourage everyone to have fellowship outdoors.

Can I take my mask off once I sit down?
No, please keep your mask on for the duration of your time on campus.

I have health complications and cannot keep my mask on for a long period of time, am I exempt from wearing my mask?
Your safety is our main priority. If you cannot keep a mask on, please enjoy our service online at newstorychurch.com /online, or youtube.com/newstorychurch from the comfort of your home.
