Resources for Racial Reconciliation

Here at NewStory Church, we are committed to help the church address the sin of racism that has for far too long been left unaddressed and/or ignored. By no means are we experts in this, but we believe it is important to listen, educate, and begin the conversation.

This godly work of fighting against racism and fighting for justice is a long game. It’s a life-long work for us to engage in, not just for a moment. So pace yourself and don’t get overwhelmed from the start. We have created this resource page to help in that endeavor. Just start somewhere and commit to finish it as long as our Lord gives us breath.

“He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?"

Micah 6:8 (ESV)

Resources for Children & Youth

Change begins one heart at a time. We believe our children can learn to see, think, and have love and compassion that reflects God's heart - and we can be a part of helping them learn and understand the world we live in and the trials our brothers and sisters of color face in this country on a daily basis. Here are a few resources that might be helpful.
